I'd like to provide care for children on a more personal level. I have an affinity for children, especially in their early developmental stages. Everything is so new and amazing to them! Being a childcare provider is a very rewarding occupation because I have the opportunity to be a part of the future of each and every child in my employer's family. My foremost responsibility is to provide quality care and supervision for the employer's child/ children. I've done this for quite some time, so I understand caring for children is a demanding job that encompasses the following duties which I am all too familiar with: helping with numerous child-related tasks such as meal preparation, feeding, bathing, dressing, keeping children's rooms tidy, making children's beds, doing children's laundry, and straightening the playroom at the end of the day. Planning and structuring play opportunities and activities that are developmentally appropriate for your particular child/ children. Interacting and playing with your child/ children, reading stories, providing creative experiences, going for walks, etc. Additionally, the occasional homework help.
If there are hours during the day that do not involve direct childcare, light housekeeping chores such as family laundry, washing dishes, dinner preparation, vacuuming, etc., will be completed (even if not required).
A few of my notable qualities: I'm a sincere, wholehearted, reliable, dedicated, honest, experienced, trustworthy caregiver willing to take care of your adorable children per your request. My childcare philosophy is to create a loving, safe, and supportive environment for happy and healthy children. It's important to constantly provide stimulation and just be there for children in whatever capacity they need. I've worked with children of many different ages and backgrounds, but prefer to work with children ages newborn-10. I just want to allow children to freely express themselves so they can be happy and it makes for a great experience for all of us!
I'd like to note that I've assisted my disabled mom, who adopted four children (by the time I was 13; this is where my experience began). I'm also the "go-to" person within my family for their childcare needs. I'd like to share that with many other families as well!
My goal is to help make life a little easier for those I work for!
