My mother and father have been employed with full-time jobs since my sister and I entered grade school. Since the fifth grade, I was responsible for taking care of my sister and myself when we were home from school. Since then, I have worked at a sports club as their morning babysitter. The children ranged very largely in age from infants to 12-year-olds. At times the amount of children could be upwards of 15 and although at times hectic, I have found this manageable. I loved working there and would often be "on call", meaning on the hours that I wasn't scheduled to work, if there was an overflow of children, I could still be relied on to come to work. I now am a student, and care for children on an as-needed basis.
