I first became certified in babysitting when I was 12 with my Girl Scout troop so I could begin babysitting for my 3 younger siblings when my parents were away. Since then I have babysat for many families in my neighborhood that have anywhere from one child to 4 children. I have babysat for many of my younger cousins in my family for days at a time too. I am also certified in CPR, First Aid, Life guarding, and taught children swim lessons for many years. I am 24 years old now and have been babysitting and showing kids how to have fun and be creative in simple ways since I was 12. I love babysitting because involve interacting with children and helping them have fun by doing things other than playing video games and playing on the computer. I live to see children have fun with other activities because I believe it helps open their minds to being creative.
