It has been our pleasure to have Pam S. as a full time nanny in our home. Her employment began June 2012 and is expected to extend to late spring 2013. Pam cares for our infant daughter, and occasionally provides care for our 3-year-old son (who regularly attends preschool). I highly recommend her for any future nanny or child care worker position. Pam is a gentle and nurturing person. She has an easy going personality, takes instructions well and strives to do her best. She is also very trustworthy, dependable and always punctual. We also appreciate how flexible she is with her schedule - she is always willing to accommodate us with schedule changes. Our biggest concern is safety - Pam has great common sense and is just as focused on safety as we are. While we will no longer need her services (as our daughter will start preschool as well), we would still trust her to care for our children in the future just like a member of the family. She does an absolutely fantastic job caring for our infant daughter. She plays with her, takes her for walks (weather permitting), has taught her sign language and keeps detailed daily logs so we always know what her day has been like. She keeps the nursery very tidy and keeps up on the children's laundry. Also, she is very proactive in researching things herself and staying up-to-date on recommendations for infant care. Based on the intermittent care she provided for our 3-year-old son, I can also say that she is wonderful with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
