I'm a classroom teacher, language instructor, active aunt, professional child care provider, college and high school "super sitter" and eldest sibling, all roles in which I have cared for and taught children of varying ages.

I've always been told that I am "a natural" with kids, and it seems this is the case. It's fulfilling and fun to contribute to the lives of young people in positive ways and of course, the kids teach me many things too!

I am mature, reliable, experienced, energetic, creative and in good shape, although I can always use more exercise. As "Aunt Pami", I often take care of my niece and nephews. These days though, "caring" for the 11-year-old twins is more likely to entail boogie boarding with them in the Gulf of Mexico or going on one of our many "Go Blue Adventure Club" excursions. I like to work with my 5-year-old nephew on his developing swimming technique. The kids and I also enjoy hiking the trails and visiting the animals (and eating delicious, farm-fresh food) at their local sustainable farm.

I am looking for a child care position to supplement my income as a freelance commercial writer, part-time or flexible. I recently moved home to the Toledo/Ann Arbor area.
