For a period of 6 years, I consistently worked with a family, babysitting and caring for children aged 5 to 11. One of the two children has down syndrome and I spent a lot of time helping him build better motor skills. He went on to the Special Olympics and won two different gold medals. My duties encompassed: feeding them, putting them to bed, reading to them, and making sure they were always safe. I also spent the summer of 2012 caring full-time for a family with two children ages 5 and 8. My work entailed, making breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the two, bringing them and picking them up to and from school/camp, helping out with homework, playing games outside and inside, and of course keeping them safe at all times.
