When previous caregivers we'd worked with were unavailable, we located Noreen, whose profile stood out as someone who might be a good match. Turns out I was right: My son, a creative, active toddler, had a blast with her. In fact, I could hear them playing happily from outside when I returned home! At 2 1/2 years old, he's now old enough to tell me what he thinks of her, and when I asked him, he told me that she was "nice" and "fun." I am very pleased to be writing this review for Noreen B. After interviewing quite a few candidates, we finally found and hired Noreen as a nanny for our 4 month old daughter and 2 1/2 year old daughter. We could not be happier with our selection! We are extremely picky when it comes to the people that care for our children. My 2 1/2 year old has some speech and developmental delays and is extremely rambunctious. I knew I needed to find someone who could be patient and handle our 2 year old's "excited" personality and nurture our baby while I was at work. When I started the search, I really had my doubts that we could find a nanny that could provide the loving and nurturing environment I wanted for my kids.....until we found Noreen! She is such a sweet and caring person! My children love her! She has children of her own and several grandchildren. Her granddaughter is 3 years old so she knows how to handle a toddler and is great with babies. I wanted someone who was patient and caring, but willing to be silly and make learning fun by singing songs and reading books. She is all these things and more! She loves to take the girls on walks and is willing to get down on the floor and play blocks or whatever activity the girls are playing with. On top of all that, she cleans and washes laundry if the girls are napping! When I come home from work, the girls are happy and the house looks great! It is such a relief to have found her! I really feel like my children are happy and in good hands with her! If we weren't moving back to Pittsburgh....I'd definitely be keeping Noreen as my nanny for as long as possible!
