I have been around children my whole life, and have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I completed the Assistant Child Care class in high school, knowing that I wanted to work with children someday. I have been working for a child care for almost 5 years now, and love it! I have worked with children ages infant to three, and am currently the 2-year-old lead teacher. I am a very fun, loving, energetic, and creative person. I love to be goofy with the children and I always get down on their level. Taking children on field trips to the zoo, museum, as well as many other educational adventures is something that I really enjoy. A big part of my job is creating lesson plans with fun filled activities, that have great learning experiences as well. I follow all safety procedures, and continue taking classes to further my knowledge of new safety techniques as well as new things or ways to teach.
