My experiences working with children have all been great ones. I am an energetic mother of an 8-year-old daughter and I have a very active step son that is 5 years old. I love going on walks and taking them to the park and just exploring nature with them. They always have tons of questions and it's fun to be able to answer them. I have had the pleasure of working with children since the age of 19. I got one my first jobs with a non-profit organization called City Year NY. There I worked at an inner-city school with grades K-5 as a teacher's assistant and after-school program leader, it was one of the best years. The children were great. From 2009 to 2011 I have volunteered and worked at my aunt's day care with infants and toddlers. I believe children need to be nurtured and loved as much as possible. It's fun to watch them grow and discover themselves and surroundings. I love working with children because the thought of having a lasting impact in a child's life is amazing to me. I understand that each child is different and it takes patience and time to reach them. I would be more than happy to spend time with your children to help them grow, develop, and learn.
