I began babysitting my siblings and neighbors when I was 10 years old and was very passionate about caring for young people and babies. I even took the Red Cross babysitter and CPR classes when I was 11 just to learn basic emergency protocol. In 2007 I spent several months in Romania caring for children in a special needs orphanage, which greatly increased my patience, creativity, and love of children and parents. While studying Global Health in college, I mentored 5th graders at a local elementary school and tutored my professor's son in Spanish and math. I feel it is an immense blessing and responsibility to nurture children in a holistic way. I have given intensive care for people of all ages from newborn to 83 years old.
