I encourage musical involvement (singing, dancing, playing instruments), reading, and am the biggest advocate for talking about emotions or problems. Kids seem to respond really well to all of this. Patience and empathy are two very important characteristics to look for in a caregiver, and I try to have both. I am currently looking for a full time, live-in nanny position for the summer of 2013 (May-August).
