I am a Senior at Kent State University. I had decided to do Early Childhood Education because of my desire to work with children. I have also completed field observations and student teaching at the Child Development Center at Kent State University in a toddler classroom, a kindergarten and 1st grade. I am CPR certified and I also have a clean background check which is available upon request. I have taken many classes that have taught me about working with children of all ages and disabilities. I have provided child care for at least 9 years with experience working with children of all ages and also with multiples. I believe that there is always an opportunity to learn while playing. I am a very creative person who will play with the children as well as supervise their playing. I will not give into a child who throws a fit from my classes. I have learned how to appropriately handle the problem that the child may face. I will make sure there is structure as well as fun. People say that I must be patient when it comes to children but I believe that in order to work with children a part of getting along is understanding them.
