Hello there!

My name is Nichole and I have just recently moved to West Jordan from California! It's a big move after living in California my whole life, but I'm excited and eager to start a life in Utah!

Whereas I am very excited to be here, I am leaving behind many children and families I have loved for years. I worked at a before- and after-school program with children ages 4-years-old to 12-years-old for the past 11 years as the Master Teacher. I also have a degree in Advertising and Marketing and hold an A.A. in Liberal Arts. I am certified in pediatric first aid and CPR, Water Safety and Medication Administration, as well as many other trainings in different avenues of child development. I have made some amazing connections with hundreds of families over the years and will miss them all dearly. Prior to my most recent job, I was a nanny for two girls ages 6-years-old and 8-years-old for three years, two of these years as a live-out nanny and the last year a live-in. I have also taken care of many of the children outside of my job from infants to school-age, as well when their families needed someone.
I have always loved working with children since I was old enough to babysit. Perhaps that is the only child in me that always wished for more siblings. I enjoy their curiosity and overall excitement about life and how anything and everything is fun, new and exciting. Over the years I have made connections with many families and children (including some now in college!) that I will always hold close. This is something I have really loved more than half my life and I hope to find the same thing here in Utah. :)

I have done a multitude of things with children over the years in all different areas. Projects ranging from creating doughs out of oatmeal, creating plays, choreographing dances, crazy science experiments and more. I also have done tutoring and can help your children prepare for school. You name it, there's a good chance I've done it! My personal favorite activities are really anything that makes them excited and creates a connection through great conversations and from the simple enjoyment of creating messes.
