While in high school I took all of the available child care classes. I was a teachers aide at a Christian school the first two blocks of high school during my junior and senior years. I was an aide to the 3 and 4-year-olds. When I graduated I obtained a certification for child care with my diploma.
While in high school I also did some babysitting for family and friends.
I have three children who are all school age. They are 9, 8, and 6. Over the past year I have worked for the local school system as a bus monitor for special needs children. During this time I went to school to get my associates degree in Business Management. I am considering going back to college in a couple years to get a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also a scout leader for my daughters troop as well as the Service Unit Manager to all of the county troops. I have references available upon request. If you have any questions please ask.
