I began my child care experiences by volunteering in the nursery at my church working with infants to toddlers. I worked as a camp counselor at our church youth camp for children ages 6-10 for several years. After high school, I moved to Tennessee where I attended college and worked in the school's child care facility with the toddlers. I moved to Clinton two years ago to attend Mississippi College where I will be graduating from in August with a bachelor degree in psychology and a minor in theatre. The two years that I have been in Clinton, I have worked at a preschool where I teach a classroom of 1-2-year-old's. I also sub in the infant and PreK classrooms there. There are many different families that I babysit for that consist of children from infants to 8-year-old's. I love children and am looking for a long- term job that would allow me to attend night classes when I decide to begin working on a Master's degree.
