I have had the pleasure to be around all kinds of people in my lifetime, many of which were children. I had the chance to raise my youngest sister, to care for my newborn foster brother during the latest and earliest hours of the day to allow his parents to sleep. I have five young foster brothers and sisters whom I love dearly and have had a chance to babysit and care for when hurt.

I am in the process of taking child development courses to not only teach reading in a more efficient manner, but also Spanish and sign language since I am proficient in both. One thing, as I get older, I learned to appreciate more the innocence of a child and how important it is to nurture it. I find a child's ability to be astounded by simple things refreshing. I want to join a family who values not only a child's innocence but has high moral values, values relationships with others, and is just a kind, loving and honest family.
