Being that I come from a large family, and happened to be the oldest grandchild/cousin/niece, I seemed to grow up babysitting! My experience started at around the age of 15, when my first cousin was born. I was CPR certified, as well as Red Cross certified, and an active community volunteer. With a little help from my aunt, I conquered the infant/toddler stages of child care. From there I became the local neighborhood babysitter choice for many families in my hometown, ranging from infant to pre-adolescent children. I am now 29 years old, and while I have no children of my own, I have had the pleasure of caring for my friends' babies along the way. I have also played the active role of "Doula" throughout the pregnancy of my best friend, who eventually was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. That event definitely gave me a different type of experience. As she was in and out of surgeries, I found myself caring for her, her infant son, and her household. I gained tons of valuable knowledge. I would also like to mention my passion for conservation and animals. I have been a dog lover my whole life, and ave trained, fostered, and loved many dogs along the way! Pets are family too.
