I was a babysitter and summer camp counselor throughout high school. I now have a bachelors degree where I studied psychology and took several courses in child development which involved working in the nursery on campus for two semesters. For the past six months I have worked as a child development specialist in a residential facility for troubled youth ages 6 to 18. I have personal and professional experience with children with special needs and am also CPR/First Aid certified. I am a non-smoker with reliable transportation and a cheerful disposition. I am very creative and enjoy doing crafts and projects with children. I like to play or help think of new games rather than watch movies or resort to a gaming system. I pride myself in being both fun and enjoyed by the children I care for as well as a patient, responsible care giver who helps them learn and grow every day.
