My first babysitting job was when I was 13 for a family with 3 girls who lived down the road from me. It was generally once or twice a month for 3 years and eventually the family size grew to 4 little girls. Once the oldest was old enough to watch her sisters I no longer babysat for them.
I've also babysat a family with 2 kids for the past 3 years starting in my senior year of high school. I usually babysat once or twice a month for them, but once I graduated and moved for college, it became increasingly less. I still do babysit for them on occasion.
For two summers in a row I worked as an assistant counselor at a day camp in New Jersey. I enjoyed my time there and both summers worked with boys groups ranging from 6-9 years old.
I've loved all the kids I've worked with and had good relationships with their parents as well.
