I am a caring and thoughtful lady who is a certified teacher in Massachusetts and North Carolina. I hold a Masters Degree from U-Mass in Education and a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I have been teaching or working with children for over 15 years now and it is very rewarding. I am caring and loving but can be firm when necessary. I believe in positive reinforcement but I also believe that children should be respectful and responsible within what is reasonable in their age range. I am passionate about children, they are a joy and God's gift to the earth. I feel honored to work with them. I have taught elementary art for the past 5 years in one of the largest school districts in the county: Charlotte Mecklenburg, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I also have taught regular classroom and HS level and I long to have a more nurturing role while having my educational strengths support my care giving. I am looking to work as a nanny and give some nurturing one to one with smaller amounts of children in the north shore area of Massachusetts.
