I'm seeking a long-term, full time caregiver position, in the DC/MD area. The combination of my work experience, training, skills, and personal strengths are well-suited to this position.
I have three years of child care experience, during which time I worked in a child care center as an assistant teacher, in a preschool as a teacher's aide and lead teacher, and for a family as a sitter. My experience includes, but is not limited to working with children from newborn to 12 years of age, and I possess several training certificates in early childhood education. I enjoy working with children who are pleasant, playful, well behaved, and eager to learn, and whose guardians instill in them the values of human kindness, respect, and consideration for others. I love educating children in a variety of ways, so that they obtain a well rounded learning experience; this includes reading, art, puzzles, games, music, and trips to the libraries, museums, and festivals.
