I am a positive, friendly, and energetic person with a genuine compassion for others. Currently I am pursuing my career passion to become a nurse, with a goal to specialize in either pediatrics or neonates. I am set to graduate in April of 2013 and therefore cannot commit to working with families long-term. If you are looking for a reliable person to watch your little ones on occasional week nights and weekends (and possibly some days during the week), I would love to hear from you. My child care experience began 15 years ago and I have since grown into a seasoned babysitter, nanny, as well as adult caregiver. Over the years I have worked with about 10-12 families and have taken care of children of all ages - most commonly and recently, newborns to kids of kindergarten age. While receiving my undergrad, I nannied for a family with two preschool aged children for three years. Some of my responsibilities included preparing meals, transporting the kids to and from school and extracurricular activities, and providing full-time, live-in care while their parents were out of town. I also have roughly eight years of experience caring for children with special needs. Most recently, I provided full-time care to a toddler with special needs and occasionally her infant sister for 14 months. I am currently CPR certified and am a certified nursing assistant. I truly enjoy interacting with children and I am dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and fun environment!
