My name is Naomi and I moved to Lynchburg, Virgina from Cambridgeshire, England a year ago to further my own education at college within Childcare. I am very passionate in working and caring for children of all ages and would someday like to open up my own Daycare Center. My experience working with children has expanded over the years, as I have had the opportunity to work with children in both the United States and in England. I first started babysitting neighbors and family friend 's children at the age of 10 in Atlanta, Georgia where I spent some of my time growing up. I started of babysitting several families ' children, one being a family of a 5-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy and the second being a family of a 6-year-old girl, 4-year-old boy and a 3-month-old baby boy. After several years of babysitting I decided I was passionate about caring and looking after children and I wanted to expand my skills, so I took up work experience when I moved back to England for a few months working within the Childcare field at a Daycare Center looking after newborns to 6-year-olds. I have also worked at a Childcare Center within my own church here in Lynchburg looking after newborns, toddlers and elementary aged children. From working within this field, I believed that if I was passionate enough to continue doing this as a part-time job I should become CPR qualified in case anything was to occur when taking care of a child. When I first became interested in childcare I took a course on how to look after a newborns and children of older ages. Over all I am very passionate about what I do and appreciate the time I have working with children and babies, seeing and helping them develop and grow.
