I have always loved working with children. Since I can remember, I always wanted to be an elementary school teacher. During my senior year of high school, I got an elective course as a teacher's aide for the elementary school across the street. I got to work with kindergarteners and first graders. It was amazing for me to watch them understand something I explained. As a freshman in college, I started to work at a church in the daycare area. I work from the nursery to kids as old as 8. We do movies, crafts, and snacks. I have also worked as a private babysitter for almost 3 years to a family with four kids. Once a week, I watch the family's son who is now 3. This year, they had a daughter who I also watch, she is 8 months old. I prepare food for them and take trips to the park. If needed, I also take and pick up the older siblings from school. I am CPR certified. Working with children truly makes me happy and I'm grateful for the opportunity to care for them.
