I began baby-sitting in middle school (about nine years ago) for my neighbors' kids and spent a great deal of time tutoring and taking care of my cousins. In high school, I worked as a camp counselor and theater assistant at Capacidad Camp in my hometown. I was also a peer leader at a summer youth retreat for four years. In college, my excitement to work with kids flourished, and I began co-teaching an Arabic and drama weekend workshops during the school year. I became a senior camp counselor at Al-Bustan Camp in Philadelphia, PA over the summers and started teaching drama to sixth-graders at Feltonville Arts and Sciences Middle School in the beginning of 2008. I started 2009 as a dance teacher at Leeds Military Academy and now continue teaching at the preschool, Stepping Stones, in San Francisco.

I want to be a babysitter because I love children. I work with ages 2-5 yrs everyday and enjoy every interaction and adventure we embark on. I want to provide children with the support and care they need during this essential time of development.
