My experience with children goes as far back as baby-sitting starting when I was around 12. Not only my own siblings who were 4 and 8 at the time, but the children of neighbors and family friends. With not many other things to do with my weekends, I baby-sat many families until high school when I began consistently caring for a family with three children ages 1, 4 and 6 for the next three years including going on family vacation trips.

My most recent nanny position was with the most amazing family who I was with for years before I moved back to Texas!

I also have experience with children with mental disabilities including Down's syndrome and forms of Autism as well as physical disabilities including cerebral palsy. I have done countless hours of volunteer work including Habitat for Humanity in high school, serving at soup kitchens around the holidays, JDRF Fund Raising Walk and Lone Star Santas (huge toy drive in Texas) for five years.

I have a safe, reliable car (2003 Volkswagen Jetta), a good driving record and great auto insurance through Geico.
