I have worked with children for about seven years. For four years, I worked in a church nursery working with ages newborn to 12 years old. For a month, I also worked as a live in nanny; I cared for two children, a 2-year-old and a newborn. In a nursery setting, I can care for six plus children. At a home setting, I can care for up to four children. I teach children the alphabet, numbers, and what the parents provide. I also teach Biblical lessons to toddlers and elementary children. I encourage children to do their best and to have respect for others as well as themselves.

I absolutely love children; they are adorable and beautiful. Being a nanny is a stress reliever. It's a joy to actually see the child's face light up when they learn academically or show progress in their development. I am going to college to become a child welfare social worker. Being around children and helping them get ready for their role in life is very self rewarding.
