Throughout my life, children have always been a source of joy for me. I was raised as the second oldest in a family with eight kids (me being the oldest female); therefore, caring for children has always been a part of me. By taking care of your children, I can apply all my knowledge and previous experience working with kids of different ages. I am a very caring, loving, patient, reliable, responsible, disciplined, and organized person. These qualities have allowed me to successfully raise three responsible grown adults (36, 34 and 26), and assist my two daughters with their grandchildren whenever I can. I have been the nanny of a currently 4-year-old boy, and sometimes his 7-year-old brother, for the past three years. I truly love my work and am certain that his mom and the boy himself appreciate what I do for them. My days are filled with joy by knowing I am helping another mom not only look after her kids, but also provide them with love and affection as I did, and still do, with my own children. During the more than six years of working as a caregiver for elderly people, I was named caregiver of the month, quarter and of the year. This demonstrates my professionalism, sense of responsibility and level of performance at my job.
