I started babysitting when I was 13. I watched many kids ranging from infant to 10. When I was 18, I moved in with my friend and her 3-year-old son. I lived with them for a year and helped her take care of him. Some mornings I would get him breakfast and watch him while his mom slept. During the day I would help her care for him. At night if she was working I would get his supper, give him a bath, and put him to bed. I later moved to Chicago and got a job through this site caring for a 5-year-old girl. I watched her for a couples of hours everyday and some nights for about four months. I would pick her up from her bus stop and we'd walk to her house. I would make her a snack then I would help her do homework and study for an hour. She then got an hour of play time or crafts. After that I gave her a bath. Then she would read to me or we would study flashcards until her dad came home.
