Hello, my name is Monique. I am 22 years of age and attend Long Beach City College. I have been working with children since a very young age. I started working for family and friends, of course for non- pay. For about 1 1/2 years, I worked as a Teacher's Aide in Lakewood, CA with children ages 2-5. This job title included diaper changing, supervising and interacting with children, preparing snack, and also some basic cleaning. On some occasions, I would substitute for the teacher. I have taken the majority of the classes needed for my AA in Early Childhood Education. I will graduate this June. During the summer, I was a temporary full time nanny for three weeks to a 15-month-old boy. I currently nanny part time for an 11-month-old little girl on Mondays and Thursdays.
