I have been working with children for the past 8 years. I started working with children in high school when I was a junior camp counselor during the summers. In 2005 I worked in a co-op preschool. I was a nanny in the summer of 2006 for 2 children ages 4 and 2. In the fall of 2006 I began going to school at EMU to become a special education teacher. I completed my student teaching for general education in a fourth grade classroom. I will complete my special education student teaching in the fall of 2012 and graduate December 2012. I have 200+ volunteer hours in schools working with children from Kindergarten through seventh grade. I have a passion for teaching children and love working with them.
