My name is Monica. I am a college student with many years of professional/full time child care experience. I recently retired from a family I've worked with for three years raising their 3 yo girl! With my great experiences I come equipped with excellent references, life lessons, and loads and loads of age appropriate crafts and educational lessons! I love working with children and my educational focus is early brain development.

I have been trained as a postpartum doula, worked in a crisis shelter alongside CPS, conducted my own classroom full of curious preschoolers, worked as a habilitation specialist for children with autism and other spectrum disorders, and many meaningful babysitting/nannying positions. I pay particular attention to the idea that each child learns differently and experiences the world in his or her own way. I feel this is a fundamental of life that is often overlooked in childcare. I am able to invent a structured curriculum based on developmental level and interests. Additionally, I could make it fun, engaging, as well as confidence-building!
