I have babysat all throughout high school and my adult life and truly enjoy it. I was a nanny for a 2-year-old girl for about 2 years while her mother went to school and worked. She has since gotten married and moved away. I have also helped out with friends & family with babies as young as 1week, so I am comfortable with all ages. For the past 9 months, I have been a full-time, 50-60 hours/week, nanny for a family in Shadyside. My duties were complete care of their 3-year-old son. I took him to school, the park, museums, pool, zoo and pretty much anything else that I saw beneficial to him. I also had over nights with him and traveled with the family. Their prior nanny is returning to the states and is resuming her position and my hours will be cut down. I do not know if it will fit my needs, so I need to see what other opportunities are out there. I also regularly sit for a 12-year-old in Fox Chapel, so her parents can have date nights. With all this being said, I have experience with children of all ages. My availability might not be what you want, but that can easily be changed for the right family. I am college educated, so homework is never a problem. I have a clean driving record and new car so driving is not an issue. I have no children of my own and would enjoy being with yours. I am no top chief, but enjoy cooking. I tend to cook on the healthier side for myself, if your children enjoy that or can cook typical kid friendly food. I am a very clean person, so housework and tiding up is not a problem. I am also a non-smoker and have a small dog (Maltese) and cat, so I would love it if you had pets. I love doing arts, crafts, reading, going on walks, swimming, playing sports and games, because I feel that I am a big kid at heart. I am very active, not a couch potato, but can also relax and watch a movie and color. I would treat your children with love and respect and most of all want to be their friend.
