I worked as the attendant of a church nursery for two years, supervising groups of children (sometimes up to 10) ages newborn to 4 years. As an intern for a non profit that provides social services to children, youth, and families in Virginia, I planned and led play groups for children aged 1 to 6 in low income communities. For the past two summers I worked as an aide for a 16-year-old boy with Autism.
I have additionally acted as a regular babysitter and nanny for families in my community for the past seven years.
