I started off babysitting my two siblings for my mom while she ran errands when I was 13. I soon became the full-time babysitter for my mom. Once I got to high school, I would nanny for my mom during the summer and babysit whenever she needed. I then started babysitting my siblings' friends.

While babysitting I have provided meals, organized activities, helped with homework assignments and projects, done bedtime routines, dishes and regular clean up around the house, and taken children to practices, lessons, etc. I have also worked as a day camp counselor for ages 3-12 for two summers. As a counselor, I served meals and snacks, organized games, made crafts, overlooked the care of 20 plus children, and maintained park area.

I have been a nanny for 3-year-old twins girls for one year. During that time, I helped with the morning routine of waking them up, preparing breakfast, and getting them ready for day care. A few days a week I would also help with laundry and loading/unloading dishwasher when needed. After the girls were taken to school I would walk the family dog, a husky, for 30-45 minutes. I also helped the parents out with date nights every once and a while.

For the past year, I have also been an after school nanny for 4 children, ages 6, 8, 8, and 10. I would help with homework, prepare snacks, and play outdoor/indoor games. They were in close range to a park and pool so I would play with them in both settings. I also got them ready for after school sports and activities. I helped with clean up and dishes/garbage from snacks. I also helped with date nights for the parents on a few weekends.
