I love kids! I am a certified and currently licensed school teacher (state of TN) with experience teaching in the public school system and also at a private Christian preschool (in good standing at both). I have two elementary-aged children of my own and also have experience babysitting since my teenage years. I have also taught Sunday School for several years at my church. If I were to keep your child, they would not be bored! I would keep him/her entertained and active! Our family loves to have fun and stay active in academics, church, sports, arts/crafts, etc. We want our kids to grow up to be well-rounded, happy and healthy individuals. I am currently working part time as a teacher at a private, Christian preschool two days a week, but would like to find a compatible child-sitting job for some of the other days. Ideally, I would love to watch a preschool age child 2 or 3 days a week at my home. But, I would need for you to be flexible and wouldn't mind the child riding in our mini-van with me to take my kids to school in the morning and also pick them up in the afternoon. I love to do extra-curricular FUN activities and would love for your child to join us (especially when my kids are out of school)! We live about 10-12 minutes from Murfreesboro city limits (just southeast of Murfreesboro). The preschool where I work currently goes thru mid-May and then after that I would be available more days of the week. Again, if I were to watch your child, they would NOT be bored or just set in front of a TV-- they would be having fun, learning, playing, and active.
