I first started baby sitting in my freshman year of high school. I had earned all 60 hours of community service working with a 7-year-old and his 10-year-old brother. I continued watching these boys for the next year and a half. My cousin was born the fall after I stopped watching the boys and I took a summer job in watching her during the day. My most recent experience was with a prematurely born 6-month-old who I cared for from 8 a.m. -5 p.m. weekdays for about five months.
I am passionate about child care because as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a 'Mommy'. I enjoy seeing smiles of joy and the way children's eyes light up when something that us adults take for granted inspires them. I enjoy teaching children and watching their little minds work as they try to work out the situations they are faced with.
