I currently homeschool my three children (11, 9 and 5.) In North Carolina you are allowed by law to homeschool one other family besides your own.

I have a BA in Lit/Communications and a minor in Ed.
I have taught all ages Pre-K to college level. I have taught in the public school, community college, I've been a director, our family has owned it's own business and I have taught education classes for the state of NJ.

Recently I started a new homeschool group here in Wake Forest and in just a few months time we have over 40 families registered with a total of 87 children ages kindergarten to high school.
We go on field trips, do unit studies, are a part of co-ops, clubs and other group activities. So your child will get lots of socialization.

We do not do religious education, but our curriculum is very eclectic. We cover all subjects and I adjust the learning to the child. So we could create the perfect plan for your child.

There are over 83,000 homeschooling families registered in NC and over 8, 000 in Wake County. It has been a rewarding and fulfilling adventure for our family and we would love to share that experience with yours.

Our children actually like school and they love the things they get to do and most of all-they're always learning!
