Family childcare is an extension of family, not only my own but the children's families. For the past ten years I have been blessed to extend my family. I have two girls of my own. I believe that every child is special and unique. We are all different and we learn in many different ways. Through the interests of the children I broaden their understanding with activities that also develop all areas of learning (Science, Math, language, music, art, etc.). I enjoy the field trips with the children. I encourage families to join and participate in the fun. I provide; a safe and caring home environment, nutritious snacks and meals (including formula), infants and toddlers, diapers and wipes, beginning sign language and tummy time and lots of encouragement. For preschool aged I help with potty training, kindergarten readiness and social skills. For school aged I provide transportation and homework help. By providing the extra support and guidance to help children succeed, I hope to give families more time to enjoy each other. I am continuing my own education also. I currently have my certificate for special needs, care and education and associate preschool teacher accreditation.
