Michelle took care of our 14-month-old daughter for two weeks, and we were extremely pleased!! She has a wonderful natural rapport with little ones, and engaged so easily with our daughter. I really felt as though she were treating our daughter as she would treat one of her own grandchildren. Michelle arrived "on the ball" every morning, taking over the morning routine with our daughter so I could get to work. She took initiative in making sure our daughter's needs were met and making sure the dog got walked every a.m. I was totally comfortable leaving the house every morning, knowing that our daughter was in Michelle's care. Michelle seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with our little one. She kept her so active during the day (playing with toys, talking and playing little games with her, reading books, going for walks) that our daughter began sleeping all the way through the night instead of waking up in the wee hours. Michelle was very actively involved with our daughter. She didn't encourage her to take multiple long naps during the day (as other sitters might do so they can "take a break"). Therefore, our little one was happy and stimulated during the day, and slept well at night. Michelle has had lots of experience caring for others' children, as well as for her own children and grandchildren. She is calm, responsible, and energetic, and seems to genuinely love sharing her gift of caring for children. I would highly recommend Michelle!!!
