I am an experienced childcare provider with a 2-month-old daughter born 6/2010. I will be looking for a part/full-time position in August/September 2010 in your home where I would be able to bring my new baby.

I have many years of experience in childcare which include in-home baby-sitting, infant care in a daycare setting and three years as an assistant Montessori teacher (ages 2 1/2 to 6). I have been CPR certified in the past and plan to get re-certified prior to my own baby being born. I have always loved working with children and finding creative activities to do indoors and out.

I enjoy spending lots of time outdoors including hiking, gardening, and kayaking. I love coming up with creative ways to help children with their development and growth. Working in the Montessori environment taught me how to engage children in practical activities such as cooking, folding laundry, cleaning, etc., so that they may enjoy being a functional part of their environment (I promise this is fun for them and for their benefit not mine.). In addition, I feel that incorporating creative activities that include art, music, dance, etc., are essential to a happy child.
