When I was a teenager, I jumped at the chance to babysit. I had four younger sisters, two younger brothers, and a house full of pets. While in college, studying design, I worked at a child development center as a teacher for 3-year-olds. After school, I started a business with my husband. I've enjoyed the work we do, but I have found myself looking for something more rewarding so I've decided to return to working with children. I have been a stepmother for 13 years. My love for children definitely runs in my family. My sister is a 3rd grade teacher, and my aunt is a 6th grade teacher. I am extremely creative. I love doing arts and crafts.

I'm currently learning Spanish, and I think it would be fun to share learning a new language your child. I've worked with children and families for a charity for 7 years. I have references available. I know that choosing child care is very difficult and important.

I have just returned from traveling across Europe and South America for the past eight months. I was doing volunteer work with a health care organization bringing education and treatment to villages in these parts of the world. It was an amazingly rewarding experience.
