Hello! My name is Michelle and I am an experienced childcare provider, ready and willing to give your children the best and most attentive care. I have a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) degree from Ball State University.

I have several years of childcare experience in a variety of settings. I have worked with all age groups, from birth to teens. My childcare experience is varied and includes working in three licensed centers, working as a full-time nanny to three young children, and occasional babysitting. In addition, I did my Social Work practicum in an elementary school counseling office in college, and recently left a position working as a behavioral interventionist in Indianapolis Public Schools. I have also assisted in running two after-school programs. I was responsible for lesson planning and facilitation of learning activities in all of these roles. I have received training in Child Abuse Prevention, Stewards of Children Sexual Abuse Prevention, Alternative Discipline, Trauma Informed Care, Universal Precautions, First Aid, and CPR.

I have just accepted a position as an Early Preschool teacher at La Petit Academy, and am looking forward to teaching again. I am looking to supplement this with occasional babysitting in the evenings and on weekends.
