I'm Michelle, I am 21, and I'm a student studying Biology to pursue med school. I'm also very involved in volunteer activities and my church. Growing up on military basis, I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 13. I was a consistent babysitter throughout the years for a family with two children, ages 6 and 4 months. In 2011, I was a nanny for a military family and their 6-month-old. Throughout high school, I assisted lead teachers in supervising children ages 2 to 4 and ages 5 to 7 in classroom activities, meals, and outside at the playground in a church environment. I distributed teaching materials and instructed and monitored students. I observed students' performance. I had active interaction with parents of children. I attended staff meetings, conferences and required training programs. I helped children in developing good habits including that of personal hygiene associated with toilet training and diaper changing. Most recently in 2012, I was nanny for an 8-month-old for 3 months until his parents decided they wanted him to be around other kids and put him in a daycare. My most recent job consisted of personal training, being a nutritionist, and personal assistant to a CEO of an IT company. I have also worked retail and the restaurant side as well, so I am pretty well rounded and a hard worker. In a nutshell, I love children of all ages and enjoy spending time with them and helping them develop and grow!
