I began babysitting for a family with three children in my home town when I was 13 years old. I worked for this family throughout high school and college. I also worked as a camp counselor during every summer break from college.

I volunteered at various non-profit organizations with children of all ages during each semester of college. At these organizations I gained experience working with children of various socio-economic backgrounds and immigration statuses. I also volunteered at a children's orphanage in Costa Rica, where I learned to speak Spanish fluently, and gained experience working with babies and toddlers.

Following college I worked at a residential group home for adolescents ranging in age from 12-17. I recently relocated to Winooski, Vermont, where I gained employment at a counseling agency where I work with children of all ages.
