My name is Michelle and I am a child of 11 with most of my sister's being younger than the age of 14. I have had numerous experiences babysitting as well as care giving for younger children. I have worked at child care with the Des Moines Public School system located in Des Moines, Iowa as a care giver for children ages 5-12. During this time I was in charge of overseeing 30 children. I was also put in charge of overseeing the care of 20 children ages 5-7 for the summer of 2011. It was my responsibility to help them grow educationally and well as help encourage proper social skills. I am currently enrolled at Iowa State University majoring in Elementary Education as well as business. I am also certified in CPR as well as medication distribution. I am very responsible and punctual. I also believe in education. Providing the children the opportunity to have fun as well enhancing their knowledge is something I strive for.
