I raised 3 very successful and responsible daughters, all 3 grown and away from home now. I have always loved kids and animals and take the responsibility of their safety and learning as a top priority. While not a "professional", I have taken great pleasure in watching over my grandson as well as my 2 nephews (4 and 6 years old to date). I have coached soccer teams while raising my daughters when we lived in Marin County, CA and always took an active role in their development in the areas of sports, music, cooking, art and the natural environment. I am a very caring and gentle person who knows right from wrong and am very capable of creating a fun and educational experience for young people. In addition, I am an animal lover and advocate. I have a beautifully well behaved German Shepherd dog, who adores children and is a very gentle and loving "play-mate", should that be of any interest to parents. "Max" is not required to be part of the program, but he is a huge plus should you desire your children to have some very positive experience with an intelligent and sweet natured dog. Further, I am very skilled in the kitchen and am able to provide meals and/or teach cooking, should that be desired. My emphasis in that area is on fresh and healthy eating of the highest quality. I would very much enjoy the opportunity to help enrich young lives and provide a very high integrity role model. I am in excellent physical health, extremely clean and responsible. While I do not have any any true "babysitting" references, I have lived in Winter Haven for over 12-years and can provide many high-profile references from outstanding members of the community here.
