I began babysitting at age 11 and continued until I went to college. Afterwards, I spent as much time as possible with the children of my family and friends. When I hadn't met Mr. Right by the time I was 35, I adopted a newborn baby girl from Calcutta, India as a single parent. Five years later, I adopted a newborn son domestically. My true goal in life was to be a mother and it has been the most gratifying role I have had the honor of playing. I have also volunteered in the newborn through age five nursery at our church.
