I have had a lot of experience with childcare. I teach the 4-5-year-olds at my church and engage them in teaching a lesson, music, crafts, and tons of other fun activities! I have also had experience with caring for babies as young as 1-week-old. I currently nanny for a doctor and her family. They have two sons and one daughter, ages 8, 12, and 15. This involves taking their kids to school, picking them up, helping with homework, cooking dinner, taking them to the lake, biking, and doing other fun activities with them. I also nanny for another ARNP where I pick their kids up for school during the week and also take them for fun outings. During the summer I take them to places such as the museum, out to dinner, the public pool, and the park. I engage in activities with them such as reading, sports activities, and crafts, even decorating the house! For this family the kids are ages 5, 8, and 9. I also have experience babysitting a 1-year-old during the summer and a 5-month-old consistently. I love kids and actually am working towards getting my masters in counseling and work in children's homes and schools.
