If there's one thing I have, it's experience! Over the course of my life, I have been a babysitter, a swim instructor (private and public), a nanny, an instructional aide for a school district (3 years, quit to take another job), and now I work for a behavioral therapy company. We work with children with autism. It's a very rewarding experience! I am very passionate about combining fun and education. As a senior tutor, it is my job to create formal and incidental learning situations, be mindful of my influence on behavior, and help each child achieve their full potential. I also believe in positive reinforcement of good behavior. As far as undesired behaviors, I believe in redirecting, ignoring, and/or timeouts, if necessary. I have a great passion for working with children and have dedicated my life to improving the lives of all the children I come in contact with.
